Lutzen 30 year war 28mm

Postby fanai » Sat Jan 25, 2014 10:48 pm

Well our group played twice in 3 weeks - a record for us

Well it was a bloodbath and it involved a huge sledging opportunities and one of us was sent to the penalty box , but this probably the biggest game we have ever played

The figures are from the Collection of Russ, Brad and myself and painted all by us - range warlord and a few other ranges I forget

The Result was a thrilling draw with the 'Royalist' (the Swedes just missing out on a victory and Karl Gutavous unit was hit but he changed history and decided 'not' to die -( in history he actually choose the battle as an inconvenient time to be caught and shot to death) big mistake

fantastic looking game - how big is the table? (I am having scenery and table size envy at the moment)

Table 12 x 6 feet - biggest we have ever used - funny enough the battle was fought over about mostly a 4 ft x6 inch space of the central road - this and the windmill redoubt was actually where it actually happen in the real battle and the Swedish king actually survived our battle
