Oak Ridge 150th anniversary Gettysburg

Postby fanai » Mon Jul 01, 2013 11:14 am

We fought on of the fist day battle to commemorate 150 years since the battle of Gettysburg in ACW

We had a full turn out and the Seven guys played a fantastic game right to the end

Here is the Photos

The game started with a rush of blood by the Union forces and they actually attacked the gun line on oak ridge this lead to a mass and bitter dispute over the guns

leading to 2 damaged guns and all the guns silence by turn 3 - it was looking desperate - and then on turn 4 the Union advanced on their left - a note of caution was made by one union player to wait one more turn. but the brigade of the Drunk Iverson this time did not dither and attacked on mass - there was much mayhem and a certain player '10 with 3 enfilading guns did turn part of his fields red but it was not enough and the confederates force a victory on the defending union troops.
