New ACW troops.

Postby Midshipman Easy » Mon May 22, 2017 8:57 pm

All are Perry Plastics from their Confederate Infantry or Civil War Infantry boxes.

Firstly some Confedrates for a mate.

Then some that I have painted up as a unit of US Colored Troops.

Nice Figures Easy! Your mate is lucky.

So personally how many painted ACW figures do you have in your collection?

Oh now that is a hard question.

Ok lets see, for the Union;
2 general officers
8 gunners
12 Cavalry (1 unit)
24 Sharpshooters (1 unit)
32 Coloured infantry (1 unit)
24 Zouaves (1 unit)
96 Infantry (5 units)

For the Confederates
2 general officers
8 gunners
12 cavalry (1 unit)
120 infantry (5 units)

Total is around 340 figures (YIKES!) and 4 guns with units being 6 stands (either 12 or 24 figures) for "Rank and File" rules but I am expanding them to 8 or 10 stands as per "Longstreet" rules. Planning to play in the Cancon Longstreet tournament next year.

Thank you for your kind comments gentlemen. Rebels are a bit harder but more fun to paint because of all the variation possible.
