Gunners Highlanders thread, 15mm Gordons 19/11

Postby Gunner Dunbar » Thu Apr 23, 2015 10:46 am

Hi guys

Just finished this commission for 28mm Perry Highlanders as the Black Watch (I will have painted this unit 3 times in 2 different scale by the end of next week) as usual Perry figs are great, although there are a couple little areas were the mould looks worn.

Hi guys, at the risk of repeating myself, here is another 28mm Black watch project finished, rather than create a new thread, I will just keep adding to this one, all comments welcome.

Hi guys

Finished a couple of Blackwatch units, one was the standard Napoleonic affair, the other was new to me though, Blackwatch in the Sudan, these are excellent Perry figure, and painted up nicely, all comments welcome.

No way. There is no way that someone took the time to do all that! They are amazing stuff. Surely must be priceless!

Hi guys

Haven't painted much over the last 2 weeks, my mum is on her death bed with liver cancer, but I have managed to get this lot done, 28mm American War of Independence Blackwatch, I believe these are Perry miniatures, they look like them anyway, as usual my photography is crap, the green looks very yellow, doesn't in real life, all comments welcome.

Hi guys

Some 15mm Xan miniatures painted as the 92nd Gordon Highlanders to add to this Highlanders thread, have only painted 18mm ABs at this scale before and the little bit of extra size allowed me to do the bonnet chequers better on the ABs, struggled a little with these Xan, they are more true 15s.
