The Chinese put up a spirited defence with junior General Alan (11 yrs old) aiming his 37mm anti tank guns at the advancing armour and destroying the main Japanese tank before being over run by the remaining Japanese armour.

It was the remaining armour and japanese aircraft that won the day for them, man for man the Chinese out fought the Japanese infantry
