The 64th followed the Guards and deployed at Nijmegen. On the 21st Sept the 1st Airborne established radio contact with this unit and from then until the end, the gunners fired in support of the beleaguered paras and were instrumental in breaking up of several German attacks.

43 Recce Group.

Postby Midshipman Easy » Mon May 26, 2008 10:14 am

Gday Ty,

I should have all that I promised for last year except for 43rd Recce. Never got the AC's. I should also have an extra Para battalion, making up all of first Brit Para Brigade, and an Air Landing Battery or two.

Tony.
