Did you finish your 2010 projects?
Did you finish your 2010 projects?
Hi Guys,
Well I did not finish my projects for this year. How about you?
Due to a number of factors some didn't even make it pass the theory idea. Naturally some items are predicated by being designed and cast, but that is the nature of the hobby.
Next year I intend to continue with painting WW2 Japanese and my Malayan Emergency.
If there is anything new it will be Mark Fenlon's ACW miniatures for gaming with Michael using the concept of Battle Cry that Michael owns, but using gaming miniatures and 3d terrain.
Michael has got me hooked on Clan Wars an I'm fortunate that Michael has large collections of various clans so I don't need to purchase and paint minaitures for the games.
Continue with my painting business and painting craft.
Cheers,
Helen

Did not finish 1!! Mind you that is normal for me.
The vast majority of my time has been spent sculpting, but with the lates batch off to Nic for moulding, i am going to get back into some painting for a few weeks, namely 28mm Celts and a Space Marine army.

Far too many to list, and quite a few of them are still outstanding from many years previous!
Tho' on the positive side for me, I have gotten into Malifaux a bit this year, and have .... almost .... painted an entire crew!

I actually painted a lot more than normal this year, but I haven't actually finished any projects.
I have painted up some 28mm figures - Wild West and some Pulp Cultists, but still have a few to go before it counts as a full project.
I have been making a lot of buildings - again part of a bigger project.
Actually I think I have painted more figures than I have played games this year

Re: Did you finish your 2010 projects?
Sorta yes, sorta no.
On the yes side.
Rebuild a couple of planes and some German WWII armour.
A 28mm ECW army.
A dozen or so 28mm D&D figures.
Gun emplacements for the Leros Project.
The No side.
Destroyer, gun boat and landing craft for the Leros Project.
British WWII mortar and mg teams.
15mm Saxon army (partly done)
Hoping the New Year sees more completed (yeah right, good laugh)
Tony.

They are just one less thing to have stored and not getting any use.

Re: Did you finish your 2010 projects?
I never get to finish my projects
I´ve got one that is a never ending one...two medieval armies in 1/72nd scale, that´s been going for 2 years now.
Another that feels never ending...to paint every pose of every set that Airfix ever produced..I´ve got 22 sets finished...I started about 6 months ago and there´s another 39 to go.
To get a wargame finally underway......that didn´t happen either
My medieval city...I didn´t even start
Well...there´s always next year
I got 6 planes built...does that count?
