so how was Cancon?

Normally there is a bit of discussion about peoples' CanCon visits to make us folk that had to work green with envy.

Did anyone go? Was it worth while? are there photos to prove it?

CanCon was good.

From a trader perspective, Saturday was busy, Sunday and Monday slower.

From a gamer persepctive, it was great. Heaps to look at, games, custom tables, Remote 1/6 tanks, Cos Play etc.

I bought rules for Infinity along with decent force for Dystopian Legions. Britannia. Been looking at the figures for a while so mate and I took the plunge, he got Americans.

It gets busier each year CanCon. There is a real Board Game resurgence on, the Board Game area was packed!

regards
Mathew

Sounds like a good time was had.

Interesting on the board games - I wonder if it is because they are self contained and don't need a large table to play?

Not really sure mate.

I think just the simple fun they can be that gets people together and its not a video game!

Which is always a bonus.

I gave the Mrs a board game called "Takenoko" but we still haven't opened it and played a game... I keep mentioning it, but maybe I should just say "lets play it" :D

Yeah I am the same with a game I bought.

I have been playing Junior Monopoly with my 2 young lads, they enjoy that. :)

Nice! No one plays monopoly with me any more - something to do with owning the whole board each time I play
