GHQ 6mm 1940 Frenchies based....

Post by Captain Darling » Sun Feb 22, 2015 5:02 pm

Hey All,

Too hot here in Adelaide to do much...spent the arvo in the family room with the a/c on and the cricket on the radio and finished up my 6mm GHQ Frogs!

With these 6mm figures I'm gonna have to dig out the camera with macro feature and toss the 'Idevice' the pictures are a bit average...

They do look rather cracking.

I don't have any A/C at my place... so I painted three 3mm tanks a dark green today.

Thanks Dropbear!

3mm wow that is small! What era and type?

These GHQ figures are great, good detail for the size and one packet gives me around 20 stands (average of four per stand). I've down loaded several sets of free rules already, in the different sets stand equal a squad, a company and even a battalion! Im planning over winter to play test as many sets of rules as I can find. By then I'll have painted up the rest of the figures I have 80 Brits, 80 more box heads and some 1940 vintage AFVs (I'll use my ACW 6mm terrain).

Bummer about no a/c change is arriving here tomorrow so you'll get it Tuesday :D ...

Mate, you do a fine job on the basing. Awesome work.
Sending you some more extreme hot weather on Tuesday!
40 degrees and thunder storms here in Perth.

Thats why I am madly painting my recon squad HQ before shift :(

We are meant to have a change here today around lunch time! yay!

the 3mm are modern - I have some Australian and Indonesians to paint up for an Indo invasion of Australia.

Hi Chuckie,
Thanks for the comment, re weather I've noticed the last couple of years Perth seems to have more extreme days than us.

An Indo -Aussie game, a friend of mine (in defence) created a board game set in the 1980s regarding that a few years ago he play tested it not sure what happened to it in the end. So are they 3mm Lepards or M1s?

My apologies for the hijack of your original post, but to answer the question: both. Leopards for the Indo forces (they are buying up on them) and the M1s for the Aussies.
