I'm pretty happy with these...
All up about three hours to print, free CAD model downloaded, and about $3 worth of materials.

Re: 3D Printing
They look great. Do they need anything special to paint them up (as in cleaning or preparation)?
I would love to get my hands on a 3d printer.... so many things one can download to make now.

No special preparation for painting. Pretty ease to do, and agree - so many options downloadable now.

Re: 3D Printing
Hi,
For the price nice.
So what scale are these? Look around just over 3cm for a 4.8m tank so 1/144?
Those layer lines irk me, see the front plate and sides especially but being a modeller not just a gamer that could be it. Can you set the printer to make more thinner layers (longer print time I suppose or more expensive printer)?
Cheers!
