Trafalgar mini-tournament, CGS, Canberra, Sunday 21 February

We are planning to run a Trafalgar 'tournament' at the Canberra Games Society (Bridge Club, Duff Place, Deakin) on Sunday 21
February.

For those not on the know, Trafalgar is a set of fast-play Napoleonic naval
rules published by Warhammer Historical.

The format will be an informal tournament, with fleet sizes set at 500
points (for example, enough for a 3rd rate and 2 frigates with an upgrade or
two). Heated Shot may not be taken as an option, and players may choose to
ignore the weather change rule and just roll for wind change. 1:1,200 scale
ships must be used. Those fielding unpainted models may be gently mocked.

Hopefully we will get through 3 rounds. Historical match-ups will be
engineered wherever possible. All welcome, including rank beginners. There
is no entry fee aside from the usual CGS fee ($5 members, $6 non-members). There will be a copy of the
Trafalgar rules up for grabs for the best-performed new player, and maybe
something else for the best-performed veteran.

Traflagar reference sheets, rosters and templates are downloadable from
here: http://www.warhammer-historical.com/aca ... loads.html

Cheers
