The Panzerschiffe has always been my favourite. I know it wasnt that effective but i have the book Krancke wrote about Admiral Scheer's raid in the Indian Ocean. I love the look of the ship and always have. ... ral_Scheer ... index.html

Not much of a "... of the month" category surely Jason ..... hmmm let me think, we could Choose Admiral Scheer, Admiral Graf Spee or Deutschland/Lutzow .... they all pretty much look the same ..... I'll choose Graf Spee, coz it looks great as a burning scuttled hulk outside Montivideo on the Rio Del Plata! ;)

If you actually mean to nominate "Pocket Battleships" as a whole, as the ship's of the month, then I'd have to nominate the German WWII Battlecruisers (Scharnhorst/Gneisenau) as a whole category on their own, the later versions with the clipper bow .... surely some of the best looking/most graceful warships ever to put to sea!
