so far nothing but a place to start, can be reached from the staff lounge
so far a one day event planned a very pretty Late Imperial Roman /Sassanid stoush though it would be nice to do a Norman vs Saxon or Saxon vs Viking stoush on the second day..

500 points of Vikings sitting on the workbench just waiting to be flocked.

Ditto for 1500 points of Late Romans.

I will get pics done once all based up nicely.

I was thinking of doing a Late Roman siege of a Sassanid city, with a relieving force . I have all the necessary siege equipment/ artillery done. The city walls are also rearing and ready to go, as is the terrain. I just need to get the sassanids done.

Anyone interested in joining in?

Does it need to? Is it written in stone? Make our own rules!

Actually, I was thinking more of the wall already breached, Romans assualting and Some Sassanids relieving

Sadly I am in the altogether wrong neck of the world. I'd love sometime to take my castles down to Brissie and have some one run a big medieval or LOTR siege all over them.

Good luckwith your ventures.

I'm interested, however I'm waiting for the Cardinal to finish my Polish Armoured Brigade before I launch into my next project.

Cheers

Well I can get Old Glory figures really cheap...

Maybe even pull out a paintbrush myself...

They won't be pretty but will be cheap.

My wife says it's about time for Abstract Art to move into the wargames arena...

I think I have been insulted...

Akula,

You will be doing Aztecs to keep your Mexican themed armies, of course? :)

I have all the Later Romans done - 1800 points inc generals. The Cardinal says that is too much, but what does he know?

Sassanids are next. As they are more expensive points wise (after the hordes of compulsory foot are done) it shouldn't take too long to do.

There is enough for you to join in without having to put anything together.

As to day 2 with a possible Viking/ Norman something game the Cardinal better get painting.
