Dropbear's SAGA project

Post by Dropbear » Thu Jan 23, 2014 8:45 pm

Thanks to Adminfella I was able to get a copy of the SAGA rules that I have been wanting for some time now.

As the Dark Ages is something I have always wanted to game, but never really had a set of rules, or even a clue on how to paint the figures, I never did much about it.

Whilst waiting for the rules I purchased a Shieldwall Viking miniature to be my warlord for a Viking warband. Having painted it up I am happy with the results:

So far this is the only figure I have for the game as I am trying to fund this project by selling things I no longer want or don't really have a use for to pay for it all.

I do have some funds to use now, so I an deciding which box of Gripping Beast plastics to get first. I am thinking I will build the Vikings first and then an opposing force to go up against them.

Regardless, I will use this thread to post any painted miniatures for the project as time goes by.
