It took one or two attempts but using the Zvezda bombard base and a bit of brass tube it got made :-D

Nicely done. Not quite what I was expecting though, I did not realise they set them literally on the ground. Nice piece overall. :)

The set is, as far as it goes no way correct. Virtually every bombard , reconstruction, woodcut etc Shows them on some sort of wooden bench / trough Thing. I might build another, but this one on a wooden Support....
