Isn´t it?. I still can´t believe I´ve actually got it. my mate described it too me over the phone and I thought it´s sure to be either a wreck or some toy plastic castle with bits added..but when he showed up with it I was speechless.
I´ve still got to get the lighting repaired and I might add some cellars / Dungeons under the buildings.(and find a decent place to keep it :) )

The pictures have only just shown up for me, been on your blog a number of times but they never show up ... but that is mint, just painted up a castle myself for the crusades got myself a miniart scale 1/72 http://www.surf-the-arts.com/2011/05/tw ... art-2.html perfect for a 28mm figures but not high enough so i began building on top on a stone base .. well like they was in the crusades, brilliant paint job by the way

Will take photos of it on Monday night for you its at the club, what i did was convert it alot but it paints up great and looks really good, bit of a pain fixing it together though and can be frustrating at times...but thats wargaming for you its all about the hobby, the pictures you put up here have disapeared again ? i seem for some reason not to have vision on all your pictures.

Miniart castle 1/72 perfect for 28mm figs and connect perfectly up with the warhammer castle, only problem is the height so i had to build it up which is ok because castles were put on rocks..pain to put together but i am in a rush painting up lots for figures for the 23rd of this month...25 quid and that includes the p+p so i thought it was a good price...28mm fig on the walls in the pictures to give you the size.

Looks good! That is one kit? I ask cos that was whatIi am planning on doing with it..is not to build it up as a castle but as a wall for wargaming.

Thanks. I´ll definately get one ..a pretty effective looking curtain wall for wargaming. I might get two kits and convert some of the wall/towers so they have some battle damage and swop them out as a seige developes..
It would work if they were based the way you have done it..as if it was a rocky outcrop ...also good for adding some depth for moat sections as well....

A great buy, I dont know where I would use a castle wall but it would look great as a backdrop. Nice work.
