SAGA at CanCon

Post by craigjwoodfield » Thu Feb 02, 2012 5:15 pm

At the just finished CanCon 2012, I ran 3 SAGA particpation/demo games.

Each was a straight 4 point game between Vikings and Anglo-Danes. The Vikings had 2 units of 6 Hirdmen and 1 of 4 Berserkers, whilst the Anglo-Danes had 3 units of 4 Huscarls and 12 levy with slings.

The Anglo-Danes won all 3 battles. We also fielded plenty of questions and intend to run a small SAGA tournament at WinterCon in Canberra in June.

Cheers

Berserkers are a mixture of Foundry and GB.

We will be running a small SAGA comp at Good Games in Conder (southern Canberra) on the first weekend in March. Details to follow.

Great looking game.

I am particularly interested in Late and Post Roman Britain and I've been very tempted to buy SAGA. It seems to be very popular.

Cheers,

Barry
