Who is going to Cancon this year?

Post by Helen » Tue Jan 05, 2010 7:11 pm

Hi Guys,

Happy New Year to you all.

Just wondering who is going to Cancon an are you just attending for a looks see, participating in a game, actually hosting an event or selling and buying products.

I'll be there for a few hours as I'm not involved in any event. I hope to host another demo game in the next couple of years.

Hey Helen,

I hope you had a good xmas and new year! :)

I won't be there this year. I had hoped to be, but i will have to save it all for a big run next year! :)

I will certainly miss it though, i love just browsing around, it is the one event for a wargaming/hobby enthusiast to see just about everything in one place. :)

regards
Mathew

P.S: A fella was asking on another forum the other day about Orbat for Light Horse in Palestine. I though you may know something about that??

no - my REGT is firing a 21 Gun salute on that weekend and I am in charge of the recruiting display :?

But, having said that, one of my peers is going... I saw his leave app, and he told a tiny fib!

Btw anything you are thinking about selling some stuff that is well painted we only charge a 8% fee!!!

I have a tonne of well painted 15mm and 28mm armies for sale, and some unpainted lead as well.

Matt (BW),

its only a pilgrimage if you have to travel some sort of distance!!!

You could almost stand in your doorway, and then spit on Cancon .... not like its on the far side of canberra from you or anything! ;)

A_C (Who most likely won't be attending ... this or any other year .... until he and BW get off their butts and arrange to put on demo/participation game together!)
