Blucher Rules - Who Has Splashed Out For A Set Locally?

Post by Captain Darling » Fri Mar 13, 2015 4:50 pm

Hey All,

So who here in Australia has splashed out for a set of Blucher Rules (and Waterloo card set?)?

I have seen some Aussies on the Honour Blucher Forum own up getting it :D .

Let's hear from you owners, what do you think?

Cheers!

Certainly thought out about it.

May well do at some point soon. Too late to celebrate the big anniversary though I think.
Would have to get the Cigar Box battle mats too !

Hey Gustav,

My local hobby store said they werent getting these rules in so I organised to pick up a set at Little Wars Adelaide from Eureaka in July, I was in the shop last weekend and there were the rules on the shelves grrr...I'll just have to wait (at least I won't pay Eureaka's shipping!).

I have decided to use the Rank and File rule set for my Napoleonic through to Colonial Regimental games.

For Napoleonic to Colonial skirmish games Smooth and Rifled are my choice for rules, but there is a home grown set written by Richard Bradley I have used for ACW and my hyperthetical Russian Invasion of Auistralia skirmish games.

But the basing I'm using will allow for virtually any rule set...

Cheers!

Hey Tyberius

Thanks, how do you find the game plays?

What scale figures are you using?

Cheers
