Hello All

A bit has been happening.

I received the production moulds back for the figures On Tuesday. Once the Casting Machine is fixed I will be a in a position to start spinning them out.

I am about to send a 3inch Mortar master and Boyes ATR master to the sculptor. This will allow for the Medium Mortar + Crew as well as Boyes ATR, No2 and 2 figures with Sticky bombs.

I have the Thompson SMG masters as well. They will go to the mould maker in a few weeks when I get back from a work trip. From there the SMG pack will be able to be done.

There is a Japanese rifle master as well, which will allow me to get a sample figure done so the Aussies can have some opponents.

regards
Mathew

Seeing them painted up shows up the detail on the minis nicely, and certainly does them justice. :D

Hey All.

Next set of masters:

Boyes ATR team and 2 diggers with sticky bombs.

Now working on 2 x Bren Teams and 3 x NCO's with Thompson (drum mag).

Plan is to have it all ready for release in time for MOAB and to start sending out to all the contributors who have been so patient with the project to date.

Mathew

Fantastic Mathew. Any more future figures plans? Like the light & medium mortars and vickers mg?
I am really excited to see this range growing.

Hello Mate

Yes there is.

The sculptor has the medium mortar master, so I just have to add a crew.

Vickers and 2 inch mortar will probably be done at the same time.

I am getting feedback for more slouch hats, so all of the next releases should be that as well.

I am going to do another rifleman pack in slouch hats as well. To allow me to do this I will be looking to do some simple head swaps of helmeted figures already done. I may be able to fund some fresh sculpts in the future, but that will have to suffice for now. :)

My main priority is to get this next batch done, moulded and cast so i can start meeting all the pledges from the original project.

regards
Mathew

Thanks for the update Mathew. I will definitely be in the hunt for more bush hat figures, even if it's only a head sprue to do some conversions. Fantastic range.
Cheers

I love what I'm seeing here, and will be giving these beauties a long hard look at MOAB (as I will doing a Kokoda themed Australian company once my Japanese are done).

Bloody marvellous!!!!!!

I think a Platoon pack will be in line after I finish the Afghanistan figures.

On the subject of Kokoda, I've been up there, so if anybody wants any photos, info etc for terrain or locations, just ask. Between trips I have most places.
