My name is Ian, and I play Zombie games!

One question... apart from a poll, are you actually requesting any figures here?

If so please describe what you are hoping to get made.

well as such was going to see the how the poll runs, see what people come up with, kick a few ideas arounf and then , at a certain point absorb the comments and run up a flag with a list of codes, anybody feel free to put forward their ideas.. I would like them to be a bit overblown , sort of Zombie African Dictator in big hat with a lot of braid.. and flashy uniform
and evil genius scientist,,Western Arms dealer..heroic Hollywood looking western merc..plus rank and file zombies..African soldier zombies , western merc zombies, African merc zombies zombie civilians, zombie tank crew..African Zombie master( aka witch doctor), Zombies of obvious Arab culture origin..British civilian zombies..Soviet.Warsaw bloc zombies.. it goes on and on..a section , a weapons team or two, some personalities..

Done my cap-ee-tan.

I might suggest that if figures go in to the pre-order request type stage that each "type" (i.e. soviet zombies) have their own thread, otherwise I will have a jolly hard time keeping track of things.

On a side note, a Weird Cold War/WW3 range might be kind of cool.

If the discussion goes well, I might put in a request for werewolves, vampires and other things that go bump in the night.

Going back to the zombies... can zombies use firearms? Or are we thinking of figures in uniforms etc without weapons?

Now that should really start the conversation going.

Fumbling manner, and unable to reload.

Which leads to another topic.. how are the zombies made, and if done by military scientists, do the retain knowledge of their training?

I think they were reanimated by powerfu voodoo practicisng shamans but an up date to powerful weird scientists wielding psychtropic mind controlling drugs and using implanted electronic mind controls works for me.., possibly cause more "active" zombies able to do a bit more,,drugs? mind control,,you could have partial zombies, still retaing some memories but under the infliuence of poweful dark science....all good stuff..though I like the shaman, sort of fantastic weird hollywood general's uniform with very fanciful African regalia ..

as for werewolves and shape changers in general I know for a fact GWZ is a bit of an expert on them.. Vampires , now thay are usually very active and quite probably weapons proficient but are seriously limited to night actions

Well said, Oz.

Now shapeshifting is a different story - we need more werewolves, were marsupials and the like.

The appallingly restricted permissible responses made me go for zombies/shombies.

I am the proud owner of around three hundred zombies (none of them Spartiates) and very few of them GW (although I do have a plague cart because I liked the model.

I don't want zombies sullying up the moderns range as yet because if released as connected in some way with the "real" range it will fatally undercut the nature of that range (they will become "Aussie zombie fighters").

Don't do this, even as a joke. Give this range a chance to get into the world as a great new historical thing.

If you must, go zombie after they stop selling so well.

It's called marketing. I get paid to know this stuff.

but zombies are likely to be better sellers than the "real" thing and so much more fun..

or a Weredingo

Hmm - modern Aussies are attacked by weredingos in the outback town of Crackatinny.

Might even draw up a scenario for this one if anyone is interested.

Tin Soldier Miniatures used to make a Weredingo....

I dont know much about Weredingo Lore, but I assume that it may not be so different from their remote cousins...

You will need a Dundee or Irwin figure for the hero.
