I am about to post them off to Nic @ Eureka for moulding.

I would say they are slightly more bulky than Minden. Saying that i think they are crisper in detail and nicely proportioned. :)

They are stunning figures, the photos do not do them justice. :)

Crisper in detail than Minden?

Wow, these are gonna rock then, because Mindens are as crisp in detail as you can get, or so I thought. When will they be ready?

figures are with the mould maker. Lucky for us there is also a generic dolly so production should pick up a bit once we get this first lot done. :)

In due course your patience will be well rewarded. :)

Have I slipped into a coma and missed the announcement, or has there not been a first release yet? :?

With the mould maker mate. :)

We found a few buttons and a bit of lace had not been added, so we had to get the figures back for final touches.

Another update:

Greens should now be with mould maker. As per the previous post we had to do some final additions to the figures to ensure accuracy. But, as no surprise the mould maker cannot make the moulds for another 4 weeks at least and as such there will be (yet) another delay.

We do have though, a blank dolly and a couple of other pieces of equipment, which should in the long run not only allow for quicker production, but also more readilly allow us to expand the ranges we plan.

regards
Mathew

Indeed it has and none find it more frustrating than i. Bluewillow may be able to update more, but there were a couple of detail issues found and the delay has been a combination of getting the detail right and the mould maker being overseas. Bluewillow told me the detail issues are now rectified, so just got to get them to the mould maker and wait for him.

I can assure you we are doing everything we can.

Mathew

I think I'm out fellas. By the time this "range" gets off the ground, I'll be too old to collect it

Sorry.

Can you just remind me what figures will be available in the first batch so I can start planning what I need?

Now now Mr Blue Willow . that is rather a bit harsh ..it is still a bit too short for an Hauptfeldwebel to threaten anybody overly much..Will you have some for sale at the Goulburn Lace Wars bash?..I am intending to come down for that..The Angus Young satchel is rather amusing as well..

I know the Blue Willow quite well, he is a gentle giant as I recollect though shy isn't a word for him.

Been a while since we updated on these guys.

Please see some WIP shots below.

Due to the extensive delays in getting these figures released and no confirmed date yet (but we hope to have something by CanCon end of January), noone who committed to buy as part of the original project is obligated. I totally understand peoples frustrations with the looooong time it has taken to date. None know and feel them more than i. There has been sooooo many things go wrong that i could have easily cut it and not bothered to continue, but the project has become a real challange for me now as i do not like to be beaten. Aside from that i believe this figure range will really find its own place in the genre and happy to stand by it as such.

I make no apologies continuing to try and get the figures as correct as possible and of the highest possible quality. So while none are released just yet, we are continuing to work and get figures developed so when we do release there will be a good start!

You will note aside from the obvious figures we continue to work up ones that noone else does. The Pioneer i am particualry pleased with as he took a bit of work to get up due to the lack of references to this particular figure from a Hannover point of view.

The next batch to be worked on in January is a bit of a toss up. We are thinking either the Jaeger or Legion Brittanique. The Mounted Colonel should be part of either of these. I am a little unsure at this stage if the Legion Musketeer should be in standard marching pose or maybe even the high porte, so please feel free to let me know which set you prefer to see first and preferred musketeer position.

As you will see there are still a few details to be added, but feel free to mention all these here and any others in case we did miss the obvious. :)

Comments, suggestions and observations are always welcome and encouraged, these guys are for you after all. :)

Oh, This project started to only cover Hannover, but we have now decided to expand to other nationalities. With that in mind research is under way and sculptors arranged. The only other thing i will say is that the Western threatre is our target and in detail. :)

One last, remember WIP shots, so details still to finish/adjust. :)

regards
Mathew

P.S: Officer and NCO not shown, but also close to completion
