I would like two.

Don't know what I'd use them for (they didn't have them on the Gona/Buna/Sananda beachheads right?) but they would be convenient.

From what i have found, Aussies used Flame throwers in the Solomons, Borneo, and Wewak.

Indications are that they came into use around Decemeber '43

they probably aren't in action, I would say these are taken during a demonstarion or training..

according to the AWM site i 'borrowed' the pics from, these were actually in use against the Japanese. Any pic of training makes mention of it.
