They had some at Shaggy Ridge, I had a friend whose father commanded one there. It would seem to have been a shattering personal experience for him.

Yup, Colin Stirling did a fantastic job of guiding their shells onto the Jap positions on the Prothero features.

There is a shopping strip 5 minutes from my house. For a while there where a couple of guns on the median strip that I believe where baby 25's except they were missing wheels. They disappeared a couple of months ago. I noticed yesterday that they are back,fully restored with wheels and repainted. If it would help, I can grab photos of them.

not formal as yet - once we get enough numbers up it will then go to the next stage at battlescape where we can then order them

The Official History of the Proud Sixth (6th Division) has some some great shots of short 25s.

Easily found, published by Oxford. The title is, from memory, The Proud Sixth.
