Gallabat

The Gallabat game at the Cumberland Association last Sunday, 15 turns and the Brits just missed out!!!, notable moments were the destruction of two British tanks by AT rifles, a Brit tank shedding its track 3 times, a monumental dogfight for 5 turns between a Fiat with bombs in board and a Bulldog masuerading as a Gladiator, and the Italian gunners dying to a man around their guns.. good fun had by all and thanks Adam A-B

This looked like a great game.

Give me crappy tanks, airplanes with upper and lower wings and anti-tank rifles anytime!

Regards,

Rowdy

It was huge amounts of fun, I was playing the Fort garrison and knocked out the two lead tanks with my 20mm solthurn at rifles.. a pair of 6s!

The photos came out really well Kendo...well done.

Early war stuff certainly does have a particular charm and character... though I remain a late NWE man at this point

Kudos to Adam and Terry for putting on the game and supplying the nice kit.

No John , I was an Italian the good looking bloke with the grin and the hastily coloured in UJ was Terry , who had to attack the bloody thing, and as the only way in was to have a tank break down the thorn fence , he was a bit nervous when two of the tanks were knocked out by me and the others had a habit of throwing a track..

Hi Kendo,
I spotted that it wasn't u, ( I read the caption :) ), but admit to getting confused about the UJ. Fancy filling it in, isn't that some sort of treasonable offence.......
Best regards,
John.

I got a call from Adam on Saturday for a Italian Flag for the fort...so I hastily printed one from the net....didn't think I would be attacking the fort, and would need a Union Jack as well!!!!

Colonel Tolhurst (AKA Rowdy)
