When you have the real thing in your roof and your kill rate is running in the hundreds, playing with little ones doesn't seem up to it somehow.

Killed six in the last week alone. Even the mighty James, Scourge of the Mouse, Harrier of Cats and Creator of the Noisome Stench scored two in open combat. The Dowager Becky has retired from field combat, preferring to express approval from the safety of the Yellow Blankie on her lounge. Princess Penny just wants her tummy rubbed. I worry about her marriage prospects.

I would be interested in a mechanised form of army. Maybe Leonardo gone mad or similar. The pixies are ridiculous. I have too many 28mm WH as it is lting unused. I'm desperate enough to offer a game at Goulburn if necessary. Four armies, all painted never fired a shot in anger.

Waste of money, really.

No you didn't! As a matter you persuaded me to go heavily into it. By the time it all became too horrid I was committed to finishing them.

My dear Hawkwood, you know my personality. When I commit to a path it can be most difficult to avoid the Macbeth point.

My little mountaineering project is looming similarly.

If it's the same lurgy that swept through Nouvelle-Champagne, then I sympathise wholeheartedly. The Royal Family was unable to hold court for a fortnight. Then the dog died. Really. Seriously. No joke.

Vale Duchess Becky, the greatest mouser of them all.
