Yeah I find confusion the worst...but hey I have one in my deck too...I usually advance units out of cover with it!

Re: Lonstreet at Cancon 2018. Battle 1: Norfolk.

Yeah I think you short changed yourself on the Elan table there, bugger your cavalry was elimated in the last turn! The biggest quirk in the Rules is the pass move or charge phase no move and charge...still I’ve playtested some house rules for that works okay but we just stick to the originals for o...

Great looking stuff Easy, thanks for taking the time to photograph the action very nice! Were yiu getting used to the nuances of the cards after multiple plays? Hard to tell from the commentary but remember the non phasing can only play one interupt a turn. From reading not sure if cant shoot an ele...

Hi Easy! Thanks for posting this, your figures look great in action. BD luck for this round. Well how'd you like the Longstreet rules? Also how'd you like the post game campaign phase (my favourite part!). Not sure if ths campaign rules were rejigged for Cancon but not sure how you could have a caut...

Yeah I’ve seen some posts on bad conditions at one of ‘the sheds’ (never been but holding an event at what can be described as sheds really?) they mention great traders and a great bring and buy table BUT bugger all on the games!

Interesting Basing Option VSF//Steampunk Figures

Hi All, Thinking of taking a few of my VSF figures bases off at ‘foot level’ and putting them on these ‘charms’ available pretty cheap (and with free shipping) on EBAy... http://www.lead-adventure.de/gallery/31/9257_20_01_18_1_18_17.jpeg I reckon they’d be perfect for evil genius types etc... Okay beside ‘the same as last year’ what’s your plans for 2018  ... For me... Get at least half a dozen FUBAR VSF games in of course. Developed The Great Antipodean Adventure idea and get the Very Uncivil Australian Disturbance under way. Do the Road Trip to Melbourne Little Wars, I have one d...

Christmas Themed VSF PULP Game AAR

Hi All, Yep Christmas time so I forced my mates to engage in the usual FUBAR VSF Christmas game, this year with a decidedly PULPY feel using my updated FUBAR VSF rules! The scenario 'The Spirit of Christmas' is a hunt based game with 5 artefacts to discover and attempt to remove from the play area w...

VSF Verne Inspired Moon Cannon

Hi All, I heaven't done much VSF scratch building recently, been busy with other projects plus I have so much stuff I'm not sure how much more I really need! Anyway a bullet shaped thermos I bought for part of my brother's Christmas present inspired me to build my own version of a 'Moon Cannon'... h...

Re: Tray Battlefield

Hey Dropbear!

Sorry to hear about your illness.

Tray idea looks cool, I'd say you need 6mm figures to really make it work...or some 28mm gladiators skirmishing perhaps...

Nice!

ACW Skirmish AAR

Hi All, Cracked out the 28mm sized ACW figures for some skirmish action! We played a meeting engagement with balanced forces. It was a lot of fun and resulted in a victory for the Union! Even though regimental colours wouldn't be present for skirmish type engagements they look way to good to leave o...
