Re: Greys for Balaclava

They have come up a treat. 8) I am greatly interested in the Crimean war - I have a few of the Eureka 18mm figures, but as the range isn't complete, I never really did much with my small collection. Having successfully played a Napoleonic skirmish game with up to 14 figures per side, seeing this is ...

Looks great - rather inspiring, except for the thought of where to store it when not being used.

Re: Plans For 2017?

My plans involve more gaming than I have done over the last two years, stick to one set of rules that can be used for any skirmish game and wait with much anticipation for the "A Right Bloody Mess" 1930's Australian civil war sourcebook to be released. Game wise I intend to play a Napoleonic skirmis...

Re: Does anyone on this forum play Dux Britanniarum

I have it, but haven't played a game yet. But I do find the campaign part of the rules excellent, so even if you don't use the combat rules you could use a set you are happy with and just use the campaign part of the rules.

If you have and like SAGA, it might be a good campaign too for that too.

Nice work.

I once tried to make a miniature topiary for a game using a miniature and some flock ... didn't work out that well.

Cheers. I will have another look... most of the mats can find are in the $40+ range, and don't really want to spend that much, so hopefully I will find something I can use.

Re: 1/56 Crop Fields

What height are the door mats?

I have been looking for a door mat to do this type of thing for years, and the best I can find is one that is about 5mm or 10mm high.

Thanks for the reply - sounds promising so far.

I was thinking of making hills, which would be flocked, and a trench/no mans land, so the easy marking shouldn't be too much of a problem... I hope :)

Re: foam board question

the sheets are 60 x 1200 and come in two sizes for thickness - 3 cm and 5 cm. The 2 cm is about $13 and the 5 cm about $24ish.

The web site for the product mentions it can be used for hobbies and is easy to cut.

I was wondering how easy to cut.
