Re: Does anyone on this forum play Dux Britanniarum

I have it, but haven't played a game yet. But I do find the campaign part of the rules excellent, so even if you don't use the combat rules you could use a set you are happy with and just use the campaign part of the rules.

If you have and like SAGA, it might be a good campaign too for that too.

Re: 1/56 Home Made Statues

Nice work.

I once tried to make a miniature topiary for a game using a miniature and some flock ... didn't work out that well.

Re: 1/56 Crop Fields

Cheers. I will have another look... most of the mats can find are in the $40+ range, and don't really want to spend that much, so hopefully I will find something I can use.

Re: 1/56 Crop Fields

What height are the door mats?

I have been looking for a door mat to do this type of thing for years, and the best I can find is one that is about 5mm or 10mm high.

Great start so far - I too like Harper's gun - great work on a 15mm figure!

I have always wondered how those buildings would work with 15mm figures.

Re: New 1/56 Martian Tripod - What Colour Do You Think Its Eye Should Be?

The one on the right has a better looking eye - is it possible to pick out the edges of the 'honey comb' on the eye with black and keep the rest of the eye red?

Re: foam board question

Thanks for the reply - sounds promising so far.

I was thinking of making hills, which would be flocked, and a trench/no mans land, so the easy marking shouldn't be too much of a problem... I hope :)

Re: foam board question

the sheets are 60 x 1200 and come in two sizes for thickness - 3 cm and 5 cm. The 2 cm is about $13 and the 5 cm about $24ish.

The web site for the product mentions it can be used for hobbies and is easy to cut.

I was wondering how easy to cut.

What a great museum - certainly a lot more to see than the tank museum at Pucka. Fantastic to see the guns too. Thank you for sharing, and I hope that one day I can visit the museum myself.

foam board question

Has anyone used, or know someone that has used the Knauf Insulation Multi-Use Foam Board (sold at Bunnings) at all? I haven't seen it in person and am wondering if it the same type of foam that can be used to make the awesome scenery I see so many people making. https://2ecffd01e1ab3e9383f0-07db7b96...

those 28mm & 20mm moderns are very interesting. Without giving away too much, will they only be Aussies/SF that you are making, or other types of Aussies and other nations too?

great work, and Iove the extra details you have put on them, such as the dusty windscreen that have had the wipers used on them.
