Re: Vale Victor "Rick" Quayle.

I have known Rick on and off since 1979. In my first HR job, Rick was a fork Lift driver and union delegate. He later left that job and went back to university to study history which was a true passion for him. Rick went on to become a senior university tutor. When Tin Soldier Penrith set up a lot o...

Re: Alexander's (the great) Italian Holiday.

The variable extra distance is a charge certainty reduces certainty and made the game more interesting. Although watching the roman armoured cavalry finish their charge at 360 paces instead of the normal 240 paces certainly turned the game and surprised me. Although the Romans were actually finding ...

New concentrate blue pigment paint from Dervian

This has hobby potential as the fluid range is thinner that the flow range.

you have to thin the flow range to use on miniatures which I have used sine 2001 as well as their discontinued Derivan MiNis.

look at the coverage over black paint

Help Please Airfix 1/72nd scale french line infantry

I was given these miniatures nearly 40 years ago as a child. I had found them to give away but then I played a game of Blucher and decided to paint them. I am not sure where the folds should be in the jacket tail for me to paint the outer blue jacket and the inner white folds. Any pictures of your A...

fixed link to photos -High Elves

I am slowly painting High Elves for my sons as a keep sake. I just finished these archers to add to the spear men. the Spear men actually have an unusual history. They went missing for nearly 3 years after being in a display for the public.. I later found them at my front door , in a used condition,...

One correction

The recovering Irish are charged and broken.

They passed every morale test, my only stubborn unit

If they failed in the end, well I have forgotten that.

Great game. Alas Poor Rupert, we needed you alive

Here are some photos of what I already have. They were painted in 1978. I dropped one and it now has to be repaired, a knight swinging an two handed axe. Only now he is minus the axe so I did not take a photo of him http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a253/kgmusic/2015/DSC03382_zpsve1n28dd.jpg http://...
