Re: Watch Towers

There is now a small gallery on the Flashpoint Miniatures web site with pics of the first tower built with some 15mm and 20mm figures. Both work very well.

AF,

The ones that Siege Works Studios sells are 1mm-1.5mm thick. They are resin but the master is made from precision cut perspex.

Re: Koenig Krieg in Sydney

We have sold several sets of rules into the greater Sydney area.

We were hoping to be at MOAB but we left it a bit late it seems and all the vendor areas are gone. We are on a wait list so we may still be there but it seems unlikely.

IF we can help organise anything just let us know.

Re: Fully Painted Vietnam Army

Viv,

Sorry for not being clearer.

When I asked what model M48 I didn't mean which model kit but which model of M48, M48A1, M48A2, M48A3, etc.

RCL = Recoilless Rifle. You stated the NVA had 1 x recoilless rifle stand. They used three different RCL's, 57mm, 75mm and 106mm.

Re: Fully Painted Vietnam Army

Viv, Good looking Armies mate and certainly each army, US Army and NVA, did have all the items shown. You can never have too much extra bits on US armour in this era. :D Although I must say that they are not two armies that would have ever fought each other. You have used a very sound list of refere...

Re: Convention Listing

If possible include contact details for the organisors so prospective exhibitors/etc can contact them.

I started a thread in the main forum early this year that listed all the Cons in Aus that I was aware of, that may help as well.

Its the humidity that you feel the most in those temperatures, back in old blighty! .... mind you, sitting outside (in a beer garden) until 10'ish, while you still have a bit of light, and its that warm, is not such an unpleasant experience! ;) Yep, I am with A-C on this one. Re: Unit sizes

Hengist, The SYW Austrian foot units are 16 figures, 4 figures per base on 4 bases. The grenadiers are 12 figures, 4 x 3. There is a large contingent of KK players in SE Qld but we also shipped a considerable number of the recently released version 3 rules to NSW, VIC, and SA. If you are not already...

Re: So what is a Furphy?

And the Furphy water carts or at least the Furphy company was the first to coin the phrase "Good Better Best, We shall Never Rest, Until Our Good Is Better and our Better Best" and not that gouging ex government owned telco that used the saying in an advertising campaign several years ago.

Well I am biased but I pay 15mm wit Koenig Krieg.

A last minute hospital trip meant we didn't get to CanCon this year but we are actively pursuing a trip to MOAB at present. More on that later.
