I WROTE THREE OF THEM!

Whew! Its been a while since I was free enough to come on line in a sort of relaxed format. I eventually wrote three books on British and Commonwealth Warship Camouflage WWII and they have now all been published by Seaforth books in conjunction with Pen and Sword and the US Naval Institute Press. It...

Re: Warhammer Historicals: Trafalgar

I have both packs of those ships. They are quite good value for money. Of course all the classifications are identical...100 guns, 74 guns, etc. But painted up they look very nice.

Re: Last post

OK...so I will help remove the fateful label for you and post!

But it is true....the term LP was often used in many military units instead of KIA. (Killed in Action). LP meant the person had been a LAST POST recipient regardless of the cause of death.

When you get to my age, one feels a bit uncomfortable when you see yourself listed under the 'Last Post'.

It brings on a gulp....! And you pinch yourself to make sure you are still alive! :?

It isn't a bad game at all Mal ....and the figures are painted

That looks quite nice. It would be good to see some games from other states with well painted figures and a good theme. We can assist with scenery locally to avoid having to bring too much. :)

Re: Are wargames uncles needed?

It was passed unanimously. Mind you....the subject brought on considerable recall of 'unhappy experiences' from the members and a lot of nervous laughter about events different people had attended in the past. It was a serious motion, to try to find a way of getting some known to the applicable part...
