Re: Bolt Action Rules- WW2
Interesting article I not going to slam the rules not having played them or even read them, but mixing regular infantry with Royal Marines is just a tad silly. Just gives the impression that you can put together whatever you like in your army list.
Will have to walk past and have a look at Cancon.

Why should he bother? Personally great looking game and a great effort on the part of those who organised it and put on the web for all to see. Excellent terrain, great paint jobs a pleasure to enjoy others work. Look forward in anticipation to see others do better or at least do something other tha...

Re: Have forums reached a point....
Blogs are great , if you have the time to work on them and keep them updated regularly. What I enjoy is looking at peoples painting and getting ideas for my own. Still think there is a role for forums but you are right they rely on main contributors, casual ones like me need to contribute more to ma...

Re: minifigs resurrection for LaSalle WIP
Im not trying to be negative and I am sure they are great rules but every time I hear terms like "the next great rule set" the warning lights come on. I will most likely end up buying a set but for me who plays a variety of periods I suppose I am reluctant to buy a set for each period.

Re: minifigs resurrection for LaSalle WIP
All this Minifig talk might encourage me to get them out of the boxes again. Whether I want to rebase for Lassale not sure I want to go that far, would have to buy and read the rules first. But do I really want to do that either?

If you are after Foundry you need to email them for a catalogue of their War of 1812 range. It is one of their archived ranges but still available.

They dont like heavy guns shoo...

Certainly good time to catch up with freinds or put faces to names. It was an excellent looking game, the pick of the con. The only one that came close was the Alamo, great terrain and figures as well. Need more of these games.
