Re: Napoleonics - an engagement in the Peninsular

Sorry, missed that bit about the rules  we use Blackpowder with a few tweaks - namely with no saves and double stamina (with the hail caesar break test chart) to speed up the carnage and take out the jammy bit of luck with saves (helps as I can't make them anyway). The loss does not bother me!...

Re: Napoleonics - an engagement in the Peninsular

Cheers Capt.Darling,

Turned out good fun despite my hasty deployment and tactical blunder - I forgot my Camera for the close ups - too busy packing all the terrain, board and minis :)

Will try get some close action shots next time (oh, and deploy more sensibly too :P )

cheers,

Tas.

Napoleonics - an engagement in the Peninsular

Hi all, Please check out the link to last night's game - a very unfortunate (yet timely for the Brits) couple of blunders by the French prevented us from getting rolled and turned it into a enjoyable swinging challenge of a battle! https://campcromwell.blogspot.com/2018/11/napoleonics-at-molesworth....

Re: Gunners Post apoc project, stalker conversions

Looking good Gunner! How'd you go with converting the soft plastics in 1/72? Some look like the harder and easier to use plastics often used with 28mm and they'd be ok, but how'd you go with the softer ones? Especially interested in how they paint, the anicents I've done in the past always suffered ...

Hi all! Gotta love those rare quiet days when you actually get something done! These guys were a project that got shelved ages ago after doing one min sized squad, a medic and the Lt+NCO. Interested yes, player base locally? Musket Action! AWI

Hi all, some shots from last night's game - Musket Action! Well that is the Bolt Action rules adapted to suit the age of black powder. The blokes at the local club wanted something quicker to play than M&T/SP and smaller than Full blown BP so Musket Action was born! It makes for a cracker of a game ...
