Re: foam board question

a router could be used easily - would be very effective. Actually depends on how you go - I made marks from my power saw due to the angle - but they were actually ok and as I will use mine under a cloth not a problem at all. With flock etc also not a problem. Will try and post some pics this weekend.

Re: foam board question

Ok made a few hills with mine yesterday - as I had a day off with the kids as it now school hols for my lot. 1) Board is quite strong but marks fairly easy. Therefore you will need to be fairly careful especially if doing above mat pieces. Mine are going to be below a mat so no real issue. 2) Very e...

Re: 6mm Napoleonics - Russians

Thx for the advice dropbear - I had kinda reached that conclusion myself based on BP. However, was thinking that perhaps a simplified BA would be good / suitable as a starter for playing with my 8 year old son. umm apologies long way from 6mm Russians now. Actually though I am leaning towards doing ...

Re: 6mm Napoleonics - Russians

Capt Darling I do think in many ways you are indeed right about movement and ranges. I was tremendously impressed with the terrain work done by Bruce Weigle which I am sure you are familiar with but just in case linkage below. http://www.g-design.us/bruce/BrucesTerrainBuildingArticle.pdf However, al...

Re: 6mm Napoleonics - Russians

Do not tempt me with these smaller scales - I have enough trouble getting my 28mm's done.

Worst is I am now beginning to think of some Russians as my next project.
Possibly - Russo-Finnish/Swedish War and / or 1809 Danube

Certainly thought out about it.

May well do at some point soon. Too late to celebrate the big anniversary though I think.

Re: Introduction

skiving - multi tasking :) Thanks for the welcome guys ahh yes - scale 28mm for me, although I am sorely tempted by AB figs to go smaller, in fact even to 10. However not sure my eyes will allow me to paint those as well as I would like. Have enough trouble with 28mm. Rules no preference as I have n...

Finally some Peninsular Battalions Finished.

As suggested by Capt. Darling here are some figs of mine. After some considerable time on my painting table here are some shots of some finished battalions of mine. First up my Portuguese - 3rd Olivenza Regiment https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/sy40faWdo2akfyKca24I8JlFoyL06eJdt_FPrMxZcg=w1181-h664-...
