Ironclad Miniatures Heliograph Team

Belgium, June 18 1880... Troubled and flustered Lieutenant Cartwright hollered over the din of gunfire to Captain Darling, "Darling the Marconi Wireless set is on the blink again! How can we summon reinforcements?" Darling replied calmly while engaging in sword play with two rather brutish looking I...

Re: Song of Drums & Shakos AAR - The Supply Train

Thanks Guys!

Cyrus sorry I haven't played Sharps Practice so can't compare them. From what I have read Sharps could let you play a bigger game but one of the reasons I've never tried them for up to about 20 -30 figures a side (which I doubt I'd exceed) Song of Drums is great!

Song of Drums & Shakos AAR - The Supply Train

We trotted out the Song of Drums and Shakos rules and my Perry 1/56 figures for some more Napoleonic skirmishing! A small British supply train escorted by a column led by an Austrian staff Officer and marching in very smart order is ambushed by a force of sneering Frenchies who were not only chain s...

Hey Tas nice work on your Napoleonics!

Your basing them mainly singly is that for versatility? What sort of gaming are you planning with them?

Iron Cross rules I have them but not tried them, do you have a list of updates you've used and why?

Thanks!

Re: My 10mm World War II Project

Nice work Andy. I see you've narrowed your field of WW2 action too, a good thing!

What size bases are your infantry on? I've gone with round bases myself.

I think basing the vehicles is good to cancel out the extra height the foot figures get with their bases.

Good AAR Tas!
Nice figures, I see two unpainted Perry farm houses there, I have one myself it's a pretty versatile building.
Bolt Action for AWI I've near heard ofthat before. I'm planning on trying Maurice for some AWI action latter this year...

Ironclad Miniatures VSF British Artillery Crew

Before I go on holidays I finished painting up some Ironclad VSF British Artillery Figures that have been on my painting table for quite a while. I like any figure in a spiked helmet and these don't disappoint! https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-fWcAnShcIYY/Wr4oJPpL7rI/AAAAAAAABdE/BuNGuvi1oUg5BF58xqdcW9E232...

10mm Stalingrad if done well that’ll be very impressive, that scale will let you get a good chunck of built up area. Looking forward to seeing that!

Hi Cyrus,

Great figures and nice building in the background...being mega picky if it was mine I’d have a few more ripples in the standard.
