I like the idea, but wish there was a 3D printer handy to take advantage of it.

Sounds like an interesting game, but that is waaaaay to many links to click on. If you add "" at the start and the the end of the link it will turn in to this. https://scontent-syd2-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t31.0-8/22095988_522454614771328_924141127550621911_o.jpg?oh=72220b6...

15mm/20mm modern Urban terrain kickstarter

I have come across a very nice kickstarter making modern urban terrain tiles in Australia. It is fully funded with free postage around Australia, and heavily discounted postage to other countries around the world. It is worth a look, and yes, I am a backer. In fact it is my first time to back a kick...

Re: Gunners modern thread, 15mm Aussies

They look great - I had a blast painting mine up, and it was easier that I expected with the DCPU.

I can't bring myself to try painting the Bushmaster and LAV 25 to go with them though. I think I will make a dog's breakfast out of them if I do.

Re: First Battle of Washington.

But i do have a heap of Mark Fenlon ACW figures Id like to do for a modern figure range that's a little different. So mate it may mean a lot more ACW ...

Campanelle pasta in Australia?

Has anyone in Australia seen any Campanelle pasta in the shops in Australia? I had a look around today and drew a blank. I want some to make some alien plant life like that seen on this site: http://germy.co.uk/pastaplants.html http://germy.co.uk/images/projects/pastascene3.JPG

I suspect we may fall way behind you Dropbear, well we'll see how we go! One other thing we considered as we will be playing Naps regularly but not always SDS so we may play larger battles in place of a skirmish :D ...I think our first game will be Monday week... That depends... I might have to pla...

They have come up a treat. I don't know if it is a trick of the light or your excellent painting skills, but some of the eyes on the horses look fairly realistic.

Re: 1814 skirmish campaign

This is an AAR for my first game of the campaign: British Riflemen vs French Dragoons (dismounted). Please be warned - the miniatures in the photos are unpainted, as I wanted to get the campaign started rather than wait until everything was painted up. At the moment I am finding it hard to paint as ...

Re: 1814 skirmish campaign

The map is rather hard to read the detail on the image above, and I have a small laminated A4 copy for marking that is just as hard to read. For the players I have a large map printed out to make it easy on the eyes. This is a map from a web site indicating the actions of the actual 1814 campaign: h...
