solo hidden enemy - play testers wanted
I am using a program/app called Aurasma (apparently now called HP Reveal), and I want to use it for hidden set up for a game. The person I usually play with will be away until sometime next year, so I can't test it out on them, so I am calling for anyone interesting in playing their own game solo wi...

Painting service wanted
Does anyone know of an Australian painting service that is currently taking on jobs that can put me in touch with please?
I have some 15mm modern armour that I would like to have painted up in modern Aussie paint schemes:
1 x Abrams tanks
1 x Bushmaster
1 x ASLAV

Re: Song of Drums & Shakos AAR - The Supply Train
I am itching for an ACW skirmish myself - I am waiting for a supplement to a set of rules called "Open Combat" to be released that will cover black powder weapons.

They look great. Do they need anything special to paint them up (as in cleaning or preparation)?
I would love to get my hands on a 3d printer.... so many things one can download to make now.

Re: Song of Drums & Shakos AAR - The Supply Train
I have played Songs of Drums and Shakos, but wasn't a fan. Maybe I was doing something wrong, but the stats for the different troop types were very uninspiring and vanilla. Judging by your reaction to the rules, maybe it was something I was doing wrong.
I do like the activation system though.

I noticed this on facebook this morning: "It's Competition Time! The ADFWGA has secured a copy of Star Wars Legion which will be a special door prize at ANZAC Cup 2018! "
I wish I could make it up there to attend.

Re: Longstreet AAR - The Battle of Cow Run
I still haven't played a game of Longstreet, despite buying the rules a while back now.
I seem to remember being put off that I needed two decks, one for each side, to play the game. Is this the case, or am I remembering a different game system?

Re: New to the Rum Corps
Unfortunately what you see is it. I don't post as often as I would like with my own projects - most of the time there aren't any kindred souls that are playing the same rules or doing the same type of projects, except for Captain Darling - our gaming tastes are similar. I also get my mojo reduced on...

Anyone else getting Star Wars: Legion?
As per the topic subject, is anyone else getting the game? I placed my pre-order in and apparently it is in the mail somewhere in Melbourne, which amazes me a bit, as it isn't due for release until the 22nd of March. I really just want the game for the miniatures to use with other rules, but i will ...

I'm not in Sydney either but these guys might be worth checking out: http://sparkerswargames.blogspot.com.au/search?q=napoleonic They seem to do a lot in 28mm, (They play BlackPowder/Maurice/Blucher) both at one of the Universities and at Hall of Heroes in Campbelltown. If you like a big battle... ...

Nice figures, and welcome to the forum. I have SAGA and some miniatures I have never put together for the game... keep posting like this and I might get off my butt and do something about them. Chuckie - I find chainmail the easiest - just paint black and dry brush with metal. Chainmail is the thing...

Re: Flames of War Status
Interesting development. Wonder if it is to do with the move to broaden horizons. I see that 28mm is going very strong along with Cold War etc. I am still enjoying 20mm WW2, although recently see to have an eagerness for small scale modern war. I play skirmish games almost exclusively these days, a...
